RAW Sleep aims to help you check off that third and final box, helping you achieve restful sleep.
KEY INGREDIENTS:
- Lemon balm (std. to >7% rosmarinic acid, >14% hydroxycinnamic acid)
The leaf of lemon balm contains active ingredients that, when provided in the appropriate amounts, reduce the breakdown of GABA, the body’s most abundant inhibitory neurotransmitter.
- Noogandha®
Noogandha® is a patented form of ashwagandha that claims to have much higher bioavailability compared to other branded ashwagandhas on the market. Ashwagandha is well known and highly used for its cortisol and stress-reducing properties. Both qualities that, when uncontrolled for, can work against restful sleep.
- Hawthorn leaf & flower extract
The leaves and flower of Crataegus laevigata have been used for centuries in Chinese medicine as a nervous system “relaxant” and sedative, among other things.
BENEFITS OF RAW SLEEP
Sleep utilizes an abundance of quality ingredients to help you fall asleep, and stay asleep. This lineup included Magnesium, B6 and Vitamin C which all act as cofactors along the conversion processes of tryptophan (also included in RAW Sleep) to serotonin and further down the line to melatonin. The lemon balm in this formula contains active ingredients that are known for preventing the breakdown of GABA, the most abundant inhibitory neurotransmitter and a facilitator of sleep and relaxation. Lastly, we added Noogandha®, a patented form of ashwagandha that claims substantially higher bioavailability compared to other popular ashwagandha extracts.
The recommended daily dose of this is 1 scoop with water. It is best to take this about 30-60 minutes prior to your bedtime. After taking this, it is not recommended to drive or operate heavy machinery as it will make you sleepy!
